CDs and DVDs printed by water-less printing presses are normally top-coated using a screen printed overprint varnish. The varnish should pass very quick printing process used in CD/DVD manufacturing processes. The varnish shows excellent adhesion on CD lacquers and polycarbonate. They can also be applied on inkjet-printed printable CDs and DVDs.
