The first training course on “Introduction to UV-curing technology and its applications in industry” was held by RadSys Co. on December 2014 in the central building of Shamsabad Industrial Estate. The short training course was aimed at introducing UV-curing technology to different potential manufacturers who are active in that industrial zone. Shamsabad Industrial Estate is Iran’s largest industrial estate in which more than 5000 factories are working.
UV-curing technology as a quick drying technique can help manufacturers in production of high quality products at a high rate. UV-curing products have replaced many parallel products in the automotive, graphic arts, packaging, construction, CD/DVD, wood, stone and other industries.
More than 50 experts from different industries attended the course. The course lecturers were professor Dr. Zahra Ranjbar (Chairperson of RadSys Co.) and Dr. Saeed Rastegar (Managing Director of RadSys Co.). Professor Ranjbar is a full professor at Iran Color Research Center and Dr. Saeed Rastegar is now assistant professor at the department of polymer engineering and color technology of Amirkabir University of Technology.
